We the undersigned believe the proposals put forward by KSIMC of London (Hujjat Stanmore) are completely wrong for Harefield.
What’s being proposed: A large, 24-hour multi-use complex including religious, social and event facilities, designed for a external community, not Harefield residents. It would bring major visitor traffic, late-night activity and a scale far beyond anything suitable for our village.
Why we oppose it: The plans are poorly developed, the consultation put forward by the developers offers little clarity, and the development will harm the lives of local residents.
- Significant increases in traffic and parking pressure
- Late-night noise and disturbance
- 24/7 operation incompatible Harefield
- An overbearing footprint out of character with the area
- Added disruption while Harefield is still facing HS2 impacts
Our position: Local Conservative councillors will be opposing this application in full - no ifs, no buts. Harefield deserves development that reflects the nature of the Village, serves everyone, and respects our rural setting.
These proposals do not.
If you are a Hillingdon resident, we will submit your name as part of any objections to applications relating to this site.
