Ruislip 'Manor' Ward is a prime residential area, well served by three tube stations and three TFL bus routes. It covers all roads from the mini roundabout at the Barn Hotel along West End road towards New Pond shopping parade and from the Yeading brook along Victoria road and south section of Pembroke road. Included in that area are three Outstanding schools, (Lady Bankes Primary, Ruislip High, Sacred Heart Primary), an attractive looking shopping area, active local churches with St Paul's being at the centre of the ward. In addition to well maintained public green spaces, we also have Wealdstone FC and their thriving youth teams, together with Ruislip Rugby Club
Cllr Douglas MILLS and Cllr Susan O'BRIEN have assisted many residents on a range of council related matters. We have also been available to listen to concerns about highway issues, planning applications and more recently relating to the Barn Hotel. Through our ward budget initiative, we have supported schools, uniformed and older people groups, local groups such as a young peoples dance and drama group.
Previously, both were integral in the Town Centre Regeneration of Ruislip Manor shopping parade and the legacy lives on still with the daytime traders - including a main Post Office and both high street chains and independent traders as well as thriving evening businesses of eateries and a local pub.
