Susan O'Brien is a committed and community focused local councillor. Elected in 2010 who lives in the ward and is happy to assist the residents she represents.
As a serving councillor, Susan is a former Chairman of Hillingdon’s Residents' Services Overview Committee and the Corporate Parenting Board. She has also been a member of the Education & Children's Services Overview, Audit and Pensions committees.
Susan has a passion for Children and their education and has been a school governor, as well as a Rainbow and Brownie leader and works in the education sector. Currently the Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Education since 2019 and the proud portfolio holder of a service that was officially rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in November 2023. Since 2019 her passion has been to ensure that the services in her portfolio are resilient and adapted to meet the needs of the families and children that require them today and in the future.
