Women's international day dinner
Cllr Barnes recently attended an event supported and organised by the Jagoo Womens Punjabi centre
An evening of celebration for womens international day at Venue 5. Cllr Barnes met many strong Asian women who volunteer their help and support with learning language and mental health. The evening was awash with colour and dance. Cllr Barnes was grateful for the invitation to come along and celebrate with them.
Teji was elected in May 2014 as a Conservative councillor for Cavendish ward in Ruislip. she is very pleased and privileged to represent the ward that she lives and works in all the time.
Her day job is a driving instructor which she enjoys as it allows her to teach and coach safe driving skills. Tejis background is originally in banking and then coaching and teaching
Teji is married to a civil engineer and have three children.
in her spare time she likes to read, exercise (mainly yoga now, but was a keen spinning girl) and enjoy her home.
