Ekta Gohil was elected as one of three councillors for Colham and Cowley Ward in 2022 and is proud to live in the Ward she represents.
Ekta currently serves as the Conservative Group Chair and Deputy Chief Whip for Hillingdon Council. She is a member of the Residents' Services Select Committee and has previously served on the Planning Committee.
Dedicated to her community, Ekta regularly engages with residents, works closely with local businesses to champion their interests, and advocates for the concerns of her constituents. She is a passionate supporter of the rebuild of Hillingdon Hospital and continues to push for this essential project to move forward, despite concerns raised by the Labour Government and local Labour MP about funding availability.
Outside her Council responsibilities, Ekta is a political advisor to the Conservative Group on London Councils, where she provides strategic policy guidance and supports borough leaders across the capital.
