Hillingdon West Ward is almost entirely residential, and shares boundaries with Colham & Cowley, Hillingdon East and Uxbridge Wards. Cllr Adam BENNETT and Cllr Reeta CHAMDAL were both elected as Ward Councillors upon the Ward’s creation in May 2022 and have served continuously since. Their key achievements to date include:
- Hosting regular street surgeries across the Ward
- Resurfacing of Hillingdon Road
- Replacing pavements on Court Drive and Vine Lane
- Installing a new outdoor gym in Dowding Park
- Constructing a new end-to-end footpath through Dowding Park
- Supporting resident petitions
- Amplifying resident objections to planning and licensing applications
- Saving the U1 bus route from being axed by Labour controlled Transport for London
- Approving the construction of a new, modern library in Uxbridge town centre
- Pushing for the reconstruction of the St Andrew’s Roundabout
