Labour U-turns on Uxbridge Library

Last night Hillingdon Labour sensationally abandoned its supporters opposed to the relocation of Uxbridge Library to the Civic Centre.

Having loudly protested at the proposed relocation, supporting demonstrations and petitions they meekly performed their latest U-turn at the Council budget meeting failing to identify the additional £400,000 running cost of the present building.

Labour members were condemned for misleading their supporters, having rallied opposition against the sensible relocation of the library by misrepresenting it as the closure of the library and then doing nothing to back up their own words.
